Since 2013, the CIES Football Observatory has developed a statistical model to assess the transfer value of professional football players on a scientific basis (see this paper in Economies). This tool provides access to the estimated value of a random selection of players in >70 leagues worldwide by considering a range of 10% above and below the predicted financial capacity of the most likely buyer. Fair prices for all players are available on demand.
